A LITTLE DOG’S PRAYER.
|

|
A Master who is firm and kind,
And understands a Doggie mind;
A ‘Walkie’ and a meal each day-
That’s all I ask for when I pray.
Brothers and Sisters I bid you beware,
Of giving your heart to a dog to tear. |

ENOUGH. |
Some are all white with TAN markings,
And some white with markings of Black.
Some of us have a patch over one eye
And some have a spot on the back.
Some of us fly at the postman
And some will not come to a call
While some of us paddle our feet in the mud
Then trundle it all up the Hall!
Some of us like to chase rabbits
And some of us Dustman assault,
But these are just minor offences
And not really much of a fault!
Some have a coat smooth and shining
And some have a coat that is rough,
Bet we’re all of us nice little terrier dogs
And I think that should be quite enough! |

HEINZ. |
When you look down your nose at me
While boasting of your Pedigree
Though I am mixed with different kinds
You should not say that I’m a Heinz.
Although my nose is rather flat
A Champion Pug was the cause of that,
And the feathers on my legs you see
A Gun Dog handed down to me. |
