THE
UNUSUAL MIX OF BREEDS.
(continuation).
|
|
The one theme which rings
through the comments made by show organisers
and audience alike is ‘WHAT FUN THEY ARE’,
‘I HAVE NEVER LAUGHED SO MUCH IN ALL MY LIFE’,
‘EASILY THE BEST DISPLAY WE HAVE EVER
SEEN’.
|
The Tricky Tykes are very
flexible and will fit in with any number of
ideas put forward by the show organisers. They
normally give two 30 minute performances, but
if the show wants three, they get three, at no
extra cost. If the show wants one long one,
that’s fine too.
The Tykes can also
provide two different displays, the original one,
which is aimed at showing the public what terrier
racing is about in an amusing and hilarious way,
and the more traditional ‘educational’ version
with the handlers in country clothes associated
with the age old traditions of the sport.
|
 |
The Tykes have their own
professional commentator, John
Goddard-Fenwick, whose commentaries have been
sought after by other display teams when they
want to add that extra touch of
professionalism. He has given many TV and
radio interviews and has written articles for
the show world. He has also stepped in when
shows have needed a commentator, and when acts
appearing at the same show as the Tykes have
needed a commentator at short notice.
|
The Tykes have appeared in
all sorts of venues, both outdoors and
indoors, and have also given educational
lecture demonstrations at many varied
functions and corporate events.
|
So the Tricky Tykes, being
so versatile, can slip in to any show
environment and guarantee to give visitors fun
and laughter all the way.
